I’ve had a fascination with life along the road since I was very young. My dad loved to travel by car, so many hours of my youth were spent watching the world go by from a car window. Dad was determined to cover as many miles on the new interstate highway system as possible. But I become increasingly more interested in those old forgotten highways, the ones that got pushed aside for the faster superhighways, and the towns, businesses, and attractions that were left to die. So after all these years, I finally decided to start keeping a photoblog documenting the interesting places I run across. Thank you for joining me on my journey.

  1. Do you know any of the history of this home. Being from Titusville I recall driving by it every time we went to Erie. For some reason we always looked for this house along the way and had to stare at it. We never knew anything about it though. Thank you.

    • I believe someone on Facebook knew something about it, but I can’t remember what the story was. The architectural style of the house indicates that it was built just prior to the Civil War.
